This weekend saw cadets from 861 Squadron take part in the inter Squadron Adventure Training Challenge at RAF Spadeadam.
Cadet Corporal Daniel Elson led a young and inexperienced team consisting of Cadets Leia Wilson, Katie Flaherty, Louis Wilkinson and James Dobson.
This is a challenging weekend [hence the name!!] with all competitors required to be self sufficient and carry all their own kit over a route that they have planned and set timings for.
In addition to that on the second day they take part in archery, mountain biking and First Aid competitions.
Given the experience of the 861 Squadron team, all the cadets did a fantstic job and they should be really proud of their achievements.
